Addy’s 21st :)

so….my dearest cousin turned 21 on the 29th of January

 

i loved everything about that party.
the kaleidoscope colours, seeing church friends hang out and ‘do life’ together, meeting new people (addy’s friends), the FOOOD. yes…the FOOD was the awesomest thing ever. from smelly cheeses to rojak to awesome mutton curry and everything that can make you salivate non-stop.

but most importantly, i love the birthday girl.

we grew up under the same roof ever since we were babies.
watched Batman, TMNT, X Men and that WEI SHUM ME shows all the time.
set up ‘lion dens’ using mattresses; we pretended to be lions from lion king
we ‘bowled’ in our grandparents garden every weekend
we got to ‘drive’ our fisherland cars (that yellow and red one) in the garden
played with the guarddogs
ate grandma’s pork porridge w carrots and potatoes almost daily
showered together
shat together* (i think)
went to Genesis child care together
waited for my mum to fetch us home everyday after childcare and she’d bring a box of dunkin’ donuts for us to feast on

primary school onwards, i went to mgs, addy went to qi fa primary
remembered waiting at the gates for her and gabriel to come home (cos they attended aft sessions)
then we’ll hang out w the rest of the family after dinner
we’ll be watching 7pm shows
with our YEOS chrysanthemum tea and JACK AND JILL BBQ CHIPS

ok….there are really just toooo many awesome times spent w this lovely cousin of mine since 1990.

haha anyway dearest addy,
thanks for being there for me throughout the 21 yrs of me life.
though we dont chit chat like everyday,
i think it’s really so awesome to know that we’ll always be there for each other no matter what!
